I’m in agreement with you on video marketing. There is a large group of your blog readers who would rather be informed through video or make a decision on buying a product after watching a video demonstration.

It’s also interesting to see the blogger we subscribe to on video, and see his or her personality shine through the video.

Haha, that really is weird Maybe the users for that specific keyword doesn’t know how to spell it all?
The keyword wouldn’t happen to be something like the longest word in the English language – now would it?

I rarely visit the Twitter site anymore, but I can agree on your second point.

I, too am pretty self-conscious in appearing on videos on the net – but I think as Blogussion grows; I’ll learn to ease into the whole video marketing idea.
I think it’s just a matter of time, however do you plan to hosts some videos anytime in the future? Or is it completely out of your frame of mind?

Yeah perhaps so, but they haven’t done anything about it
I was “inspired” so to speak – because one of my minor sites reached almost 300% traffic to one page than the traffic the whole site gets on a daily basis.

After a simple background check, I realized it was cause I misspelled a Header Tag, which also appeared in my META-tags: ranked 3rd/4th for that misspelled word and result = 300% increase in traffic (mind you, 300% of little, is not that much anyways but still)

Although I have Twirl to send Tweets from my desktop I still find myself using the web site to post more often than not.

Video marketing is a good idea, I’ve seen a few people do it but I’m very self-concious about myself so would never put a video of myself up.

Good tips, look forward to seeing some more soon.

1. Google themselves even emphasises writing for people first, search engines second..the typo deal is major breakage of that rule.

2. Google is already well aware of this “tactic” and has it too on their hit list…you’re a little late to the party here.

I do agree with you Simon, I want my posts to be as bulletproof as possible. Maybe it does indeed work, except in cases like yours, but I don’t think spelling mistakes are worth it.
