Press Release Submissions

by Janith

Writing up a press release can be one of the most cost-effective methods to raise some eyebrows in the online communities.

What is a Press Release? According to Wiktionary it is “An official written statement that is sent to the media so that it can be publicized”

~ It Drives Targeted Traffic to your Website.
~ It Increases one way valid Back links to your website.
~ It Increases your Product Sales.
~ It helps to get your pages indexed by the major search engines.

Your main focus would be of two things;

1) Writing up the “Ideal Press Release” and then;

2) Submitting it to PR Submission sites to spread the word about your product/affiliate/service or website.

As a reader, you need to visualize what you would want to read in a press release. Now, you could outsource and have your PR written by even a team of professionals all working on the same niche but that can be costly.

Since time (and therefore money) is of the essence, your best bet is to write it by yourself. Before we start, I just want to point out that Google is your best friend when it comes to pretty much anything. Hence, using Google search up Press Releases that relate to your niche and see how they were written, and using common sense identify the key features behind that release. Finally decide for yourself which persuasive techniques will/won’t work for you.

Okay next step. Let’s imagine, that you’ve created an extra-ordinary, exceptional and unique Press Release and your over the moon. Congratulations but that’s the relatively easy part.You need to let others know about it because it doesn’t matter if your the best writer in the world if no-one has the chance to even appreciate and to get to know your “production”.

Simply submit it to the many Press Release Submission sites out there on the web and watch the traffic roll in!

Nice post! Press releases is way of promoting your business and a way getting backlinks. The information that you give throughout the press release must be newsworthy, its must not sound like an advertisement rather it should be newsworthy information about the product or service you are offering to customers.
