wordpress.com is obviously better then blogger.com, I have seen many blogs with wordpress.com as the domain having high page rank which proves that Google loves wordpress more than blogger. It’s funny that Google hates their own blood ! :p

Not to be rude but your wrong. I don’t know what era you’re from but Blogger does have Categories. Google calls it labels and you can easily insert it via the design tab in the back-end. On the sidebar, you should see a ‘add gadget’ (their name for widget if you like). Scroll down to the 18th item and you should a thing called ‘label’s, add that and the labels you’ve given to your articles (if any) would be added. Feel free to edit with the ‘edit’ button/link. For proof thirdspace {full stop} blogspot {full stop} com (replace the {dot} with the actual dot/full stop)

Blogger gets my vote. But concerning SEO, well, I would say Blogger is harder to optimize. As you know, there are barely a handful blogspot.com blogs out there that was able to make it to the top.

According to some articles that I have read written by some SEO experts, Google SE itself has a little respect with their own Blogger.com. It doesn’t mean though that it can’t make it to the top. It can, but would be harder to optimize.

But I would agree that Blogger is FAR better than wordpress.com in terms of monetization. WordPress is just for those who does not really care to monetize a blog. But it’s still good though.

Hosting your own personal WordPress blog is still the best by far.

Thanks for the information Janith. I’m new to blogging world, still need to find sweet spot for getting traffic for my blog. I love using thesis because of its simplicity, and you only can get it by using wordpress
