Monday Morning Link Love – 9th Feburary 2009

by Janith

A quick round-up of some of the best articles I’ve read within the past week. All credit goes to their credible writers and must say that each and everyone has done a great job in producing such content. There’s a bit of variety on the topics but every blogger, who takes his/her work seriously should consider taking a read in them.

Monday Morning Link Love ~

  • Top SEO Mistakes to Avoid - Alex (Blogsessive) has conjured up one of the better posts going around the blogosphere lately. He has really out-done himself and beating his own high-standards with this article. It’s a must read for any SEOer regardless of the level of experience or “expertise”.
  • 5 P’s For Making A Blog Post Better – BloggingTips is renowned for its guest-posters, and their level of quality is nothing short of remarkable. This post, just pushed the level of expectation higher with a such a detailed article. Ramkarthik has really knuckled down on the basic fundamentals that we unfortunately tend to overlook.
  • 40 Excellent jQuery Tutorials – If you’ve read my previous posts, you know I’m a bit of an Ajax + jQuery fanatic. Having said that, I’ve read this post about three times making sure I didn’t pick up on any subtle details or overlooked any of the tutorials. It’s a must read if you want to spice up your blog.
  • Does The Way You Twitter Cause You Stress? – If you haven’t heard of Darren Rowse, your not a blogger but for everyone that does, I’m sure your all aware of his latest project “TwiTip” that is wholly dedicated for Twitter. Darren is very considerate in allowing so many guest posters on both his famous blogs, and more recently one guest poster has raised an interesting issue.. that I think we should all look in to. Does it really cause stress?
  • Five ways to keep me from unsubscribing to your feed – It’s every bloggers fear and that is loosing their subscribers that they value so much. Well if your one of the many that suffer from this dreaded insanity; you should read this article by DevLounge. It’s simple and to the point, but more importantly – it actually makes sense.
  • The Power of Authority And How To Become One - This article on ThouShallBlog directly follows on my guest post over there. Mind you, I feel a bit under-achieved given the quality of my preceding article. It’s such a well-written piece that goes beyond the junk that is constantly repeated by mediocre bloggers. It’s something with that added twist that makes the post a whole lot more interesting.

Also, don’t forget to subscribe to our RSS Feed for instant updates on what’s happening here @ Blogussion! :)

Hey Alex,
Thanks for dropping by ~ and no worries on the link love. If articles like yours don’t get the spotlight as such, I don’t see the purpose of Link Love ;)

Keep up the great work man!

You’ve done a great job with your guest post. Judging by the # of comments your article received, you certainly have done better than some other guest posters.

Of course, we should always improve ourselves with each article and if there is another opportunity for you to do it again at TSB, I’m sure it’s going to be the next killer article worthy of digg or stumble. Am I hinting? You bet I am……

Thank You Yan, I must say I’m just flattered to see you hinting this :)

I would LOVE to Guest Post for TSB once more.
I’d be prepared probably early next week – because Alex and I are having our hands full quite a bit with Blogussion lately.

Also if you can make a profile for me, I’d appreciate that – I’ve noticed your guest posters all have their own unique user name.

Let me know if that can be arranged,

Just so you know, they are not just guest posters. They are the regular contributors to TSB and we love to call ourselves the “associate writers“.

Show us your next article and we might consider you to be one of us. Who knows, right?
