Came across this post just now and really enjoyed it. I’ve struggled with most of these issues in the past, especially converting blog readers into customers. Most of my problem has been not having a product to sell b/c I haven’t taken the time to put my content together in an e-book or other info product. You post has shown me that I need better end results for my readers. My current blog/project is meant to serve as a resource to my consulting clients and hopefully generate new ones. Most of what I write about is based off of actual client questions so in that way I am adding value. Still, I’m seeing more and more (through your example and Alex’s of course) that I need to do something with the traffic I am getting.
