Luckily I have only one of these addictions – stats. Though I have managed to control it. I’ve dedicated the first day of each month to a complete stats analysis. I then plan out how to use these stats to grow my business for the next month and turn them off.

This is so true, this is so me.

I love stats, I just can’t get enough of referring sites, page views and the like. Makes my day and I am so not ashamed, beats the massive drug and alcohol addiction I used to have.

I know that this term you are using refers to a drug addict.You really shouldn’t make fun of people who abuse them.These people need help.I know a drug rehab for women which has no comparison with any other rehab centers.My mother has been there and now she’s the perfect mom.Throughout treatment, the woman will be planning her post treatment continuing care plan under close supervision in there.

Alex – it so fits your topic and the hysteria around it – but your message remains very important. “Getting a quick fix is all most drug addicts can think about.” Just like the “quick fix” bloggers tend to get their way through to. By getting quick dofollow links etc that tends to run off at very low quality “blogging” . . . I just love your blog title!

I know what you mean. I have been taking a break from blogging over the last year but when I was heavily blogging I was checking my stats several times per day. There is just some kind of rush when you see that spike in traffic or sales.
