January has been an awesome month here at Blogussion. New goals have been set, and our expectations couldn’t be any higher for February. We are incredibly happy with the way this blog has been going, and for that we thank all of our readers and subscribers who have made our first full month so great.
At the end of each month, I’ve decided I would make a post to go over with you our traffic stats, subscriber stats, top posts of the month, and other information. Just to show you how good of shape we’re really in, and so we can prove we don’t plan on going anywhere, except to the top, any time soon.
Subscriber Stats
The number of RSS readers on Blogussion has been fairly high by our expectations. I personally have never had more than 30+ subscriptions on a blog, so the number we have now is one I am very happy with. As of February 1st, 2009, Blogussion has 44 RSS subscribers. The numbers have jumped all over the place this month, but it ended on a number we are happy with. The most subscribers we’ve had at a time was 50, and we hope to double that number to 100 by the end of February.
Traffic Stats
The traffic here has been great. We never really set a goal for traffic, but what we did get was pretty impressive by our standards (and you have to remember that we are both small bloggers).
January 2008 Totals
Pictures speak better than words right? Here is a summed up screenshot for the traffic here at Blogussion in January 2009.

A good opening for 2009. Think we can beat it? I say we can.

Your Suggestions
So Blogussion has been around for a little more than a month, and I felt like we never really asked for your feedback. So I want to take a moment now to do so.

Nice work Alex! That’s a much more in detail report that I first imagine
There were some stats mentioned here, that I didn’t know myself.. I don’t know whether to be proud of that or ashamed haha
Also, I’d love our readers to answer couple of those questions highlighted in bold at the bottom. Your feedback will be taken to consideration and will definitely make a difference!
