Wired Weekend #4: The Best Blogging Tips From Around the Web

by Alex · 18 comments

The weekend is here yet again, and school is out for a whole week in my area thanks to this wonderful upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. That leaves me with a much clearer head to prepare for an amazing week of work, partying, and making lists of blogging tips.

We are already at our fourth installment of this series (watch for our 5th week anniversary next week) and we, as always, have some amazing blogging stuff for you guys. It’s also important to note that not only is the content here for you, but it’s from you. We pick content from our readers every week and place them into these posts, so let’s see what the Blogussion community has been writing about this week!

Notable Mention of Blogussion

Seth Waite, Blogussion.com Editor
This week, Seth got interviewed on a pretty cool blog (and labeled as a famous blogger). You can read the interview over at New Media Bloggers.

As some of you guys know, Seth joined the blog when Janith, an original founder of Blogussion left. Since then, he has made some awesome contributions to the blog and definitely deserves all of the recognition he gets in that interview!

Blogging Tips From the Community

The posts below were all picked right from our community of readers. They are all about or relating to blogging tips, and are really worth a read!

Blogging Tips From Twitter

These were tips we found through our @Blogussion Twitter account.

Blogussion Weekly Recap

Just in case you missed them, here are the posts that were published to Blogussion this week.

Oh wow Alex…..

I started reading through this post and decided I was going to add it to my Sunday Smash (same concept), as I continued reading I realized that you hooked me up with some link juice! Thank you!

Bottom line Alex, if you only knew just how much I read and have learned from your blog it’s unreal. Not to mention hands down you rock the best blog design anywhere. Hand down. Period.

Much respect and blow away that you even linked me here, thank you.

I’ve been there (or even way beyond there) when Janith left Blogussion. And I must say Seth had done a remarkable job! The ProBlogger post place an exclamation point to that. Congrats to Seth and keep it up Blogussion ;)

I particularly appreciated the post stating that one day off will not kill you. Frankly, I’m a big quality over quantity person and I need some down time away from writing to keep my batteries charged. I know that I can’t stay on the “content grind” continually and it reassured me that I’m doing the right thing.

Thanks.

I like how in that interview he says he’s known about Blogussion for more than 2 years, when it’s not even a year old, lol. Still, congrats Seth on getting interviewed! :)

Now what can be better? You guys are so awesome that whole world is mentioning you. In fact, one my teachers (tech handicap) was trying to say your name… she said.. “oh there is this website I want you to see… Blog Gush… god! what is that?”
I said Blogussion?
She said: Yes! Yes !yes that’s the one… you know about it?
So you got mentioned in my school too :P
